Meet Attorney Brandy N. Arvanitis

Brandy N. Arvanitis is a dedicated family law attorney who provides comprehensive representation in all areas of domestic relations, including dissolution of marriage, legal separation, property division, spousal maintenance, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support and college expenses, parentage actions, domestic violence proceedings, and post-decree enforcement and modification matters.

Brandy guides her clients with both skill and compassion through every stage of the legal process, from strategic settlement negotiations to effective courtroom advocacy. She understands that family law matters often arise during some of the most difficult and emotionally charged periods in her clients’ lives. With that understanding, she is committed to ensuring her clients feel informed, empowered, and supported, enabling them to make sound, practical decisions that protect their families and secure their futures.

An active and respected member of the legal community, Brandy is deeply committed to professional excellence and continued development in her practice. She earned her Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2015. Since that time, she has devoted her practice exclusively to family law. Brandy has been recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star each year since 2020, reflecting her dedication, skill, and growing reputation in the field.

Brandy is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association. She previously served on the ISBA Family Law Section Council and authored the Illinois Bar Journal article “Reviewable Maintenance: When Do the New Guidelines Apply?” She is also trained in mediation and collaborative divorce and is an active member of Collaborative Divorce of Illinois, allowing her to offer clients a full spectrum of dispute resolution options.

Outside of her legal practice, Brandy values time with her husband and children and remains actively engaged in her community. She serves as a Girl Scouts troop leader and participates in the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce. Having lived in New York City, Michigan, and communities throughout Illinois, Brandy brings a broad perspective, cultural awareness, and deep empathy to her work. Her commitment to service extends beyond the courtroom through volunteerism and charitable involvement—experiences that continue to inform her thoughtful, balanced, and client-centered approach to representation.
